20 minutes before the exam starts:
Have a browser open, one tab on Blackboard, another on the course webpage.
Make sure you have node version 14+ installed.
Have vscode open (or your editor of choice)
(run your programs through Terminal instead of the vscode's built in debugger)
Use a timer app on your phone to keep track of time, try to spend no more than X minutes on a problem where X is the points allocated to it. If the problem is worth 15 points, you should be moving on after 15 minutes
Rules and consequences regarding leaking questions continue to apply after you have completed the exam. Please wait until the following week for all students to have completed the exam before engaging in any post exam discussions as some students may be taking the exam at a later date due to medical reasons approved by the provost.
After the exam there will be an affidavit. After submission of the affidavit there will be another form to designate failing grades [C-, D+, D] be converted to an F. This is due to CUNY's grade replacement policy which can make an F grade more appealing to some other grades which would be averaged in instead. This form is optional, but must be submitted within 24hrs.
In addition currently there are rumors of CR/NC extension
Should this resolution pass:
If it passes before the Final Exam, I will remove this designation form.
If it passes after the Final Exam, but before grades are submitted, I will automatically disregard form answers and assign grades [C-, D+, D] as they were. There is no need to email me regarding this.
Please note, faculty have even less information about this then students. I learned about it through the same Brooklyn College Student Association Instagram post that everyone is sharing around. It's not something I keep on top of, so it's better to contact the university directly regarding the details of it.
If you have technical difficulties during the exam I will be accessible via Blackboard Collaborate and email, you must contact me within the first 30 minutes of the exam to give sufficient time to look into any issues.
